Robert Parker calls this "One of California's iconic value wines..." (08/09) Once again, this killer Zin-based red is full and ripe and bursting with fruity goodness and enough stuffing to match pretty much anything you're serving for dinner, from roast chicken, to pizza, grilled meat and anything with a red sauce. So good, and so cheap, there's a very good reason this wine never stays in stock long enough.
This is the more expensive one I tried first at dinner at the Fish House one night. It's really only like $25 - $30 a bottle and it tastes of Chocolate! Very good for a celebration- it tastes more expensive than it is. I literally wanted to crawl into my glass when I tasted it and just drown in it.
I LOVE wine and drink it often (maybe too often ;)) so I get very excited when I find affordable ones that are yummy!Drink up!
